Lead Teacher

Responsibilities

  • Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children’s individual needs and learning Styles.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social growth of children.
  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience.
  • Assess students’ progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
  • Incorporate math, literacy education, and other subjects into daily activities.

Requirements

  • DCF 45-hour certification
  • CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
  • Ability to provide quality Infant Itoddler care whilk promoting independence and self-esteem.
  • VPK Program experience.

Job Types:

Full-time, Part-time

Pay:

$13.00 – $18.00 per hour
