Responsibilities
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere that supports children’s individual needs and learning Styles.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social growth of children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and play.
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Assess students’ progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.
- Incorporate math, literacy education, and other subjects into daily activities.
Requirements
- DCF 45-hour certification
- CDA, Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Previous experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
- Ability to provide quality Infant Itoddler care whilk promoting independence and self-esteem.
- VPK Program experience.
